Once again anti Pakistan elements are trying to ignite sectarian violence in Pakistan.
Patriotic Pakistanis, Shias and Sunnis, must step forward and show courage in telling our emotional religious figures that saving the lives of Pakistanis is more important for the time being , especially when none of these public events and processions have any religious sanction. RAW & Taliban will not succeed in Pakistan ,if the people are steadfast.
TWO successive attacks, one at Lahore, on the occasion of the Yaum-i-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (RA) and the other in Quetta at the Al-Quds rally have left nearly a hundred dead and scores injured. Multiple blasts in Lahore on September 1 targeted the procession by Shia devotees, who had taken out the rally to commemorate the Shahadat of the fourth Caliph of Islam, Hazrat Ali (RA). As the procession was close to its destination, near Karbala Gamey Shah, the first blast took place around 7:15 PM, targeting the centre of the procession. As chaos, mayhem and panic struck the devotees, cries of pain and anguish of the wounded and smoke from the blasts filled the atmosphere. A second and then a third blast followed. Police confirmed that there were three suicide bombers who attacked the procession. The first suicide bomber took a route from Ghaznavi Street, Urdu Bazaar and tried to attack the centre of the procession, while the second suicide bomber tried to attack the front and the third the tail of the procession. The first suicide bomber appeared to be 18 years old. The procession was attacked around Iftar time when it was supposed to be coming to an end after reaching Karbala Gamay Shah. In Quetta, on Jummat-ul-Wida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, a suicide bomber penetrated the crowd participating in Yaum-al-Quds rally being taken out under the auspices of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) when it reached at Meezan Chowk. Al-Quds day is an international annual event held by the Shia community opposing Israel’s control of Jerusalem and showing solidarity with Palestinian Muslims. This panicked the crowd as some armed men also resorted to open fire.
Police is still investigating the two major attacks, which have shaken the capitals of two provinces, Punjab and Balochistan. Specialist investigators and analysts point out that both the major incidents smack of being sponsored by the Indian spy agency RAW. Various reports earlier have proved beyond the shadow of doubt that RAW is engaged in various conspiracies to destabilize Pakistan. RAW’s footprints were found on the extremists creating havoc in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Balochistan. The various Indian Consulates in Afghanistan and the numerous trade offices, the Indian construction companies set up in Afghanistan, have been exposed not only by Pakistani media but international analysts including those from the US that these are cover organizations for RAW. Concrete evidence was found in the Taliban hideouts after they were routed by Pakistan Army in Waziristan and Swat, while Indian currency, documents, weapons and equipment have been recovered from insurgent strongholds in Balochistan. The modus operandi of RAW is recruitment of local dissidents, training them and launching them for attacks on different targets at varying times. Some sleeper agents of RAW have been activated and tasked to participate in the conspiracy to create mayhem and pandemonium in Pakistan. This time RAW has a more sinister and macabre plan than before. It wants to start an internecine sectarian war between various sects thus the attack on Shia rallies and putting the blame on Sunni groups. Similar attempts have been made in the past too but they did not succeed hence the massive scale this time around.
The Daily Mail recommends that the people of Pakistan should not let RAW disrupt their lives and draw them into conflict with each other. They need to be united and remain steadfast to the cause of Pakistan. All political and religious parties should be told to hold their events in pre-designated places away from residential and commercial districts and none of these gatherings should be allowed to disturb public peace and order. Patriotic Pakistanis, Shias and Sunnis, must step forward and show courage in telling our emotional religious figures that saving the lives of Pakistanis is more important for the time being, especially when none of these public events and processions have any religious sanction. RAW will not succeed in Pakistan, if the people are steadfast.
