India wearing the mask of friendship and duly glamorized by actors of
Aman ki Asha (Quest for peace), SAFMA and types of Asma Jahangir and
Najam Sethi, also got exposed after her ugly response to Mumbai attacks.
She again managed to deceive our India-loving leadership when she
agreed to renew stalled composite dialogue and also offered to enhance
bilateral trade. Our leaders eager to regain confidence and friendship
of India hastened to offer Most Favored Nation status and to open up
border for free trade. Preachers of Aman ki Asha are now feeling
embarrassed after the recent change of colors of India for the hype
created over a trumped up beheading incident along the Line of Control
in Kashmir. Indian Army chief, air force chief, Manmohan Singh and other
Indian leaders as well as Hindu extremist groups had all started
jumping rhythmically like clowns trying to scare Pakistan but couldn’t
befool the world quite used to their theatrics.

Although peace and brinksmanship cannot co-exist in the modern era, yet India seeks to destabilise South Asia through its aggressive designs. In this regard, in its report,
the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) disclosed
on March 20, 2012, “India is the world’s largest recipient of arms.” New
Delhi’s military is acquiring latest equipments from combat aircraft to submarines and artillery. It is currently finalising a deal with France’s Dassault Aviation to buy 126 Rafale fighter jets in a contract worth an estimated $12 billion.
On November 2, 2010, US agreed to sell India the most expensive—the new F-35 fighter jets. In a report, the Pentagon said, “We believe US aircraft such as the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF)…to be the best
in the world”, referring to the radar-evading F-35 jet. Indian
purchases from US also include F-16 and F-18 fighters, C-17, C-130
aircraft, radar systems, Harpoon weapons and specialized tactical
equipments. Besides acquisition of arms and weapons from other western
countries—especially Israel, America is a potential military supplier to India.
India also signed a contract with the Russian Aircraft Corporation to upgrade its MiG 29 squadrons for 965 million dollars.
In the recent times, New Delhi planned several deals including the
largest arms agreement—11 billion-dollar project to acquire 126
multi-role combat aircraft. Notably, both India and Israel has been acting upon a secret diplomacy to target Pakistan China and Iran. In this context, in an interview, published in the Indian weekly Outlook
on February 18, 2008, Israel’s ambassador to India, Mark Sofer, had
surprisingly disclosed “We do have a defence relationship with India,
which is no secret” and “with all due respect, the secret part will remain a secret.”
Taking the concept of a two front war, India has launched a military
buildup plan, along the disputed Line of Actual Control (LAC) with
China in state of Arunachal Pradesh and Line of Control (LoC) in Kashmir
near Pakistan. On the one hand, India has been emphasising the
Confidence Building Measures
(CBMs) to normalise its relations with Pakistan, but on the other, its
soldiers crossed over the Line of Control in Kashmir on January 6, 2012
and attacked a Pakistani check post, killing one Pakistani soldier.
Afterwards, Indian troops shot dead more Pakistani soldiers on the LoC.
In this respect, The Pakistani foreign secretary asked India to
“thoroughly investigate the repeated ceasefire violations along the LoC
by Indian troops”, reiterating the offer to hold an independent inquiry
through the United Nations Military Observers Group for India and
Pakistan (UNMOGIP), which India flatly refused.
In order to justify its open aggression, India concocted a fabricated
story of accusing Pakistan of killing and beheading its two soldiers in
the same area of the LoC. Despite the fact that Pakistan’s civil and army spokesmen have denied Indian baseless allegations, but, Indian top officials and media have perennially been launching a blame game to distort the image of Pak Army and Pakistan. In this context, on January 14, Indian Army
Chief Gen. Bikram Singh threatened to retaliate against Pakistan for
the beheaded soldiers. While, there have been blatant violations by
Indian troops, which have given a blow to the ceasefire of 2003 along
the LoC.
Meanwhile, some Kashmiri freedom fighters attacked the camp of Central
Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Srinagar on March 13, 2013, and
killed five Indian soldiers. Two freedom fighters also lost their lives
in the incident. Next day, Pakistan rejected the statement of Indian
Home
Secretary RK Singh who allegedly said, “Prime facie evidence suggests
that the militants who attacked the members of the Central Reserve
Police
Force were from across the border, and were probably from Pakistan.”
However, Indian defence expenditures have no bounds. India is
expected to spend $80 billion over the next 10 years to upgrade its
military. Arms deals in India have often been mired in controversy with
allegations that companies have paid millions of dollars in kickbacks to
Indian top military officials. In this respect, media disclosed on
March 14,
this year that India’s former Air Force Chief SP Tyagi has been booked
on charges of corruption and conspiracy in a VVIP chopper deal.
Detectives raided his home on March 12 as part of an investigation about
bribery paid to secure a $748 million contract for 12 Italian
helicopters.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in its FIR
revealed that Tyagi and his three cousins were bribed 4, 26 000 euros
to
swing the contract for Anglo-Italian firm, Augusta Westland. The FIR
shows as evidence a letter written by the retired air chief marshal in
2005, in
which he approved scaling down the flying height of the helicopters from
18,000 feet to 15,000 feet. The concerned Italians admitted that the
Tyagi
family was paid 100,000 euros in cash for the 12-helicopter deal, and
the CBI claims almost half a million euros were paid to the Tyagi
brothers.
The CBI also indicated that in addition to the 100,000
euros in cash, it has tracked two payments, one of 1, 26 000 euros
between
August and October in 2004 and another of 200,000 euros in February
2005.
In 1980s, the government of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi
collapsed
over charges that the Swedish gun manufacturer Bofors paid bribes to
supply Howitzer field guns to the Indian army. Following the Bofors
scandal,
India banned middlemen in all defense deals. Nonetheless, the case is a
major embarrassment for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s government which
has been buffeted over the past year by a string of corruption scandals
ahead of national elections scheduled in the first half of next
year.
It is mentionable that in May 1998, India detonated five
nuclear tests, and also compelled Pakistan to follow the suit. The then
Defense
Minister George Fernandes had also declared publicly that “China is
India’s potential threat No. 1.” New Delhi which successfully
tested missile, Agni-111in May 2007, has been extending its range to
target all Chinese cities. Now by setting aside peace-offers of China
and
Pakistan, New Delhi has entangled the latter in a deadly arms race.
While
international community has been making strenuous efforts for world
peace in wake of global financial crisis and war against terrorism, but
India has initiated deadly nuclear arms race in South Asia where people
are
already facing multiple problems of grave nature. Majority of South
Asian people are living below the poverty level, lacking basic
facilities like
fresh food and clean water. While yielding to acute poverty, every day,
some persons commit suicide.
By ignoring regional problems and
resolution of Indo-Pak issues, especially thorny dispute of Kashmir,
Indian rulers state that they do not have any belligerent policy. But,
it becomes
a big joke of the 21st century, reminding a maxim, “armed to the teeth,
but no enemy”, if we take cognisance of Indian aggressive designs,
aimed at destroying South Asian peace and stability, giving a wake up
call to other regional powers.

It is
quite understandable that Mr Zardari felt the project to be of great
benefit to Pakistan; for the Iranian gas would go a long way towards
meeting the energy requirements of Pakistan where the people have to go
through a trying experience of loadshedding lasting for hours on end
every day. Mr Zardari was also received by Iran’s spiritual leader
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei who stressed that the project must go ahead

Taking her usual pro-America line, in her latest article ‘Not a perfect
world’ published in a daily, the writer airs her depressing views about
Iran-Pakistan pipeline, saying it is in the headlines again, but for the
wrong reasons, and wrong reason, according to her, is that the United
States and its pack of hunting dogs, the western countries, are after
Iran.
In her self-assured manner, she declares signing of the agreement a
political gimmick by the Peoples Party, just to gain some extra votes
which the defiance of the United States in the prevailing anti-America
public mood will bring. However, further down in her article, she says
“The pipeline could also help Pakistan pursue an independent foreign
policy, rather than base all decisions around the contours of its
relationships with China and the US. The ability to prioritize domestic
concerns is a strong sign of political maturity and stability.”
She agrees that the construction of pipeline could generate some
employment in Balochistan while it could also help us generate another
4,000 mw of power the absence of which is increasing unemployment. She
also declares that IP pipeline is more feasible than the
Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India pipeline, and later says “the IP
pipeline seems unfeasible for the same reasons as Tapi.” I think she
should make up her mind as to what she wants to say instead of just
contradicting herself, and confusing the readers as to what message she
wants to convey.
Her statement “Western opinion is turning against sanctioning rogue
nations” while indicating an opposition to sanctions in the West, is
highly objectionable as it implies that the nations subject to sanctions
now or before are rogues while the Western nations are all angels. She
seems to have completely forgotten imperial history of the Western
nations, what Western invaders did to the indigenous population of
United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, in short wherever they
set their foot. Even in recent times, their conduct in Vietnam and Iraq
is right before us, qualifies them as nothing but thugs, scoundrels and
murderers of the worst kind. As a matter of fact, two of the oldest
disputes, Kashmir and Palestine, which have remained unsolved for more
than half a century, and which are responsible for major terrorist
activity around the world, including 9/11, are creations of these
Western angels. It was Britain that gave the Muslim-majority areas with
access to Kashmir to India and established Israel as a thorn in the
flesh of Palestinians.
It is also the unqualified support of US and the West that has made
Israel the monster it has become which continues treating Palestinians
with contempt, subjecting them to ridicule, humiliation and worst forms
of human rights violations in their own land illegally occupied by
Israel. On the basis of their conduct, these Western nations hardly
qualify for the high regard in which she seems to hold them. Her opposition to Iran-Pakistan pipeline is mainly due to the threat of
sanctions but she herself admits that opinion in the West is turning
against sanctions because it creates ill-feelings against them. We also
know that the US has given exemption to some countries from sanctions
and since the US and NATO countries need economical, short supply route
through Pakistan for getting most of their supplies in Afghanistan and
they will need this just as much while evacuating from there, Pakistan
is in a strong position. She could also have suggested that if Pakistan
stood firm, there is every possibility that the US would give Pakistan a
waiver. However, she feels more comfortable pleading Americans’ case
with us, as well as trying to frighten us of disastrous consequences
that could follow through defying the US.
The writer says “Finally, Pakistan can’t be sure that the US won’t
impose tough sanctions, which could lead to a reorientation of
US-Pakistan relations from engagement to isolation, with Washington
simultaneously taking a zero-tolerance stance against Pakistani
militancy. In response, Pakistan would likely take on a spoiler role in
Afghanistan. Such policy shifts would undermine regional stability and
forever snuff out the possibility of Islamabad and Washington having
anything more than a transactional relationship.
She forgets that our relations with the US have always been nothing but
transactional and most of the time, the US ditched us at times of our
extreme need, and the pattern is likely to continue, rather get worse in
future. In the present round, Americans apologized for their conduct
earlier and promised to be different this time but actually proved worse
than before. The Abbottabad raid and the killings at Salala post, with
refusal even to offer a proper apology hardly show an inclination to
‘engage.’
This time, the whole western gang came up with a promise to help us. The
‘friends of democratic Pakistan forum was launched with great fanfare
but fizzled out and we do not even hear of it any more. It was the same
with the US. During meetings with the US, various sub-committees were
formed to provide us specialist help in various fields, but the
committees never progressed beyond promises and in due course, died
their natural death.
Even the project ‘reconstruction opportunity zones’ which was supposed
to provide $ 150 million a year for five years for development in FATA
was cancelled. Abandoning us, the US is busy courting India which it
wants to prop up as a leader in the region, and as a US partner in its
ultimate war with China.
This naturally puts us in the enemy camp, based on America’s ‘with us,
or against us’ policy. I am rather surprised that despite America’s past
and present conduct with us, anyone could even dream that we could have
anything but purely transactional relationship with the US: a
transaction in which we are sure to end up as overall losers. The $ 70
billion loss which we have incurred due to our association with the US
war on terror is far greater than the total aid we received from the US
from 1947 up till now and the nearly 40,000 soldiers and civilians
killed come on top of that.
Declaring Pakistan’s recent strong moves on the Pipeline project as
election stunt, she says “The problem with pre-election stunts is that
they are often shelved the moment elections are successfully contested.
And that is especially true in this case since Pakistan can’t afford to
build the pipeline. Sadly, this counterproductive stunt will distract
from more viable domestic measures to address the energy crisis,
including reducing energy theft, improving infrastructure to prevent
inefficiencies and developing Pakistan’s local gas fields.”
She has completely ignored the strong possibility that the badly-bruised
Peoples Party, which could not manage to get simple majority while it
had the benefit of ‘sympathy’ votes is unlikely to fare any better due
to its worst performance during the last five years. Moreover, some
other parties, which boycotted elections last time, like Jamaat-e-Islami
and a much strengthened Tehreek-e-Insaf are also in the field now,
while MQM is also planning to field its candidates throughout Pakistan.
Dr. Tahirul Qadri is also expected to announce participation in the
general election by his Pakistan Awami Tehreek, about which he has
promised to make a definitive statement in his address in Rawalpindi on
March 17. So, even if announced as an election gimmick, Pakistan Iran
pipeline project is likely to be pursued vigorously by other parties
which are likely to form the next government.
Our partnership with Iran could also speed up additional projects like
1,000 mw Taftan-Quetta transmission line, 400 mw Gawadar power supply
project, Noshki-Dalbandin highway and up-gradation of Quetta-Taftan
track in addition to establishment of a refinery in Gwadar.
Also, going for the IP pipeline and pursuing other ‘ viable domestic
measures’ suggested by the writer are not mutually exclusive options act
both have to be pursued to meet the ever-increasing energy needs.
As for the unrest in Balochistan, it is a threat not only to IP
pipeline, but also to continued existence of Pakistan as a viable state
and has got to be dealt with in a coordinated manner along with law and
order problem elsewhere in the country. With Chinese coming to Gwadar,
more employment opportunities will be created in the province, and the
two countries together will bring the Balochistan situation under
control, and soon: this has got to be done, and will be done. With so
many new, enthusiastic entrants in the political field now, things can
not remain the same like they they did in the past. ____________________________________________________

In Kashmir the problem is there are no support structures for the victims of above mentioned injustice and almost everyone tries to fight an individual battle for justice. We have to have mechanism where all
these people could fight collectively against their oppressor. Here comes in the importance of institution building. At the moment, most of public institutional space is shrinking due to excessive militarism.
The people need to raise their collective voice against that. All other things will fall within that paradigm. In Human Rights discourse media feels the internal discourse of right of self determination is violated. While as political leaders feel that external discourse of right of self determination has been violated.
No external agency is going to come with magic stick until and unless people of Kashmir do not raise their collective voice against all the atrocities committed to them by the state. In London we raised our voice against Iraq war and result is Tony Blair is no more on the scene. If Kashmiris as a nation want to overthrow the yoke of militarism which has led to the destruction of whole social fabric of Kashmir collective voice is the only solution.
Personal wrongs can be undone but historical wrongs cannot be undone. Kashmiri youth are vigilant and alert and they need to be vigilant to historical wrongs being committed to them. They need to find an alternative path to this vicious circle of violence. They can convey their point by peaceful method and efficient negotiating skills.
Every Kashmiri soul is precious. It is duty of the people who are in the leadership role to own the responsibility that not even a single Kashmiri youth is injured not to talk of being killed, not even a single Kashmiri woman is molested not to talk of rape. There will be no countless bodies of Kashmiri youth flowing through Jehlum and going to another side. Kashmiris will be able to express themselves freely in intellectual debates and discourses.
Kashmiris are able to live a life of dignity and integrity under the sun. My dearest one “ We will meet gain by the villas of Peace till the ‘soldiers’ return the keys.
Under the mask of democracy and secularism, Indian subsequent regims dominated by politicians from the Hindi heartland Hindutva ( Hindu Nationalism ) have been using state terrorism ruthlessly against any move to free Assam, Kashmir, Khalistan, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu and Tripura where wars of independence continue in one or the other from. ________________________________________________________

Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao on January 18 this year, while repeating the old blame game, has hit out at Pakistan for pursuing terrorism as an “instrument of state policy.” It is not new allegation against Islamabad because, in the aftermath of the November 26 Mumbai tragedy, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Indian high officials had also accused that terrorism is state policy of Pakistan and epicenter of terrorism lies in that country.
In this regard, analysis needs the indication of facts so that readers must know the truthfulness which is always concealed by New Delhi.
For the last 25 years, India has been providing its military and intelligence agency RAW with huge funds in order to support insurgency, separatism, extremism and terrorism in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhuttan, Sikkim and China. Although these covert activities vary from country to country, yet the same intensifies in case of Pakistan. In this respect, a well-established network of Indian army and RAW has been working to destabilise Pakistan by supporting insurgency in the Khyber Pakhtookhwa and separatism in Balochistan. New Delhi has been spending huge money to train and equip the militants who have been entering Pakistan on daily basis and have been conducting suicide attacks in our country, and assaults on our security forces including targetted killings besides inciting sectarian violence.
As regards RAW, more than 50 Indian foreign offices, established along with the north-western border of Pakistan are supporting the militants in Balochistan where a minority group called the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has been waging a separatist war in southwestern Pakistan with the aid of RAW and CIA. Bugti’s death was a blow to neo-BLA, but this group’s external backers did not stop their aggressive activities. After Bugti’s death his grandson, Brahmdagh Bugti is currently operating against Pakistan from Kabul.
While adopting terrorism as state policy, Indian anti-Pakistan plan was also endorsed by a 72-page white paper handed over to its Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the aftermath of Mumbai carnage. The paper, titled, War on Terror: The Agenda for Action, (Also available on the website of India Today) advised New Delhi to “exploit the divisions within Pakistan and expose its weaknesses in Balochistan, FATA and Azad Kashmir” including building of pressure on Islamabad especially by the US.
In the past, terrorism as state policy was approved and employed in the former Yugoslavia. In that respect, Serb forces used all inhuman tactics of ethnic cleansing, perpetrated on Bosnian and Kosovar Muslims, which India has now been applying to disturb the majority population of the Kashmiris. Israel which has also been acting upon terrorism as state policy has been implementing similar sort of terrorism on the Palestinians.
In the Indian-held Kashmir, since 1947, Indian forces have intermittently been employing all the possible techniques of military terrorism such as curfews, crackdowns, sieges, massacre, targeted killings etc. to maintain their alien rule. In the occupied Kashmir, Indian brutalities keep on going against the current phase of Kashmiri uprising.
However, under the mask of democracy and secularism, Indian subsequent regimes dominated by politicians from the Hindi heartland Hindutva (Hindu nationalism) have been using state terrorism ruthlessly against any move to free Assam, Kashmir, Khalistan, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu and Tripura where wars of independence continue in one or the other form.
It is notable that historical background and religious beliefs which have formed the habits and national character of Hindus are quite different from the other ethnic and religious communities. Indians still have a strong belief in the superiority of their race. Indian Hindus are followers of Chanakya (Say some thing else and do some thing else). This fact has been verified by the misdeeds of Hindu fundamentalist parties like BJP, RSS, VHP, Shiv Sina and Bajrang Dal which have missed no opportunity to communalise national politics of India even under the Congress rule. With the backing of Indian officials, these parties have intensified anti-Christian and anti-Muslim bloodshed in the last decade coupled with the dissemination.
Besides previous genocide of Muslims and destruction of the Babri Mosque led by Indain high officials, more than 2500 Muslims were massacred in 2002 in the BJP-ruled Indian state of Gujarat. Regarding that massive genocide, both Human Rights Watch in 2002 and Amnesty International in 2003 charged the “Gujarat state administration” for involvement in “a massive cover-up of the state’s role in that massacre” and pointed out numerous police officials specifically ministers, high officials and leaders of the VHP, BJP and Bajrang Dal as participants.
On September 13, 2008, the communal riots in Uttar Pradesh killed more than 200 Muslims. In one of the most tragic incidents in Assam, Hindu extremists burnt alive six members of a Muslim family. Violence has continued against the Muslims from time to time. Similarly, assaults on Christians and their property have been executed by the Hindu mobs in Orissa, Assam, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh. In this respect, at least 60 Christians have been assassinated in the recent past by Hindu extremists in the state of Orissa. Other religious minorities of India are also target of Hindu terrorism.
It is of particular attention that ideology of Hindu nationalism prevails in every field at the cost of other minority groups. It is even supported by Indian defence forces secretly. This fact could be judged from the recent past, when on April 6, 2008 in the house of Bajrang Dal fundamentalists in Nanded, a bomb went off. The investigations proved that the militants belonging to the Bajrang Dal were found in the bomb-making and attack on a mosque in Parbhani in 2003.
Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of the Maharashtra arrested a serving Lt. Col. Srikant Purohit along with other army officials, indicating that they were helping in training the Hindu terrorists, providing them with the military-grade explosive RDX, used in the Malegaon bombings and terrorist attacks in other Indian cities. ATS further disclosed that Lt. Col. Purohit confessed that in 2007, he was involved in bombing of Samjhota express, which brunt alive 69 Pakistanis.
National Investigation Agency (NIA) is convinced that Swami Aseemanand, a Hindu right-wing leader, was directly involved in the Samjhota Express blasts. Besides, the weekly “Tehelka”, in its current issue, has also conducted “a shocking expose” of the “nexus between Hindu terror and Indian Military Intelligence (MI) officers” involved in bomb attacks on Samjhota Express, and mosques in Hyderabad, Ajmer Sharif and Malegaon. With the backing of Indian high officials, leaders of the Indian extremist parties, Shiv Sena, BJP, VHP and RSS are now pressurising the Congress regime to release the culprits.
Nevertheless, before these revelations about Hindu terrorism, Indian government has been accusing the Islamic organizations in contact with Pakistani or Bangladeshi intelligence agencies in carrying out bomb blasts in Malegaon and other Indian places.
Most dangerous point is that Hindu terrorists with the support of Indian army and their intelligence agency, RAW would try to get weapons of mass destruction and will use them in the US and major European states in order to show that Muslim radicals or Al Qaeda-related insurgents have performed this sinister job. While Hindu extremists and Indian high officials with the backing of RAW has already started a nefarious strategic game of spreading disinformation that terrorism is state policy of Pakistan.
In fact, there is a co-relationship of the Hindutva, Hindu fundamentalism and Indian officials which are the genesis of Hindu terrorism.
It is now clear that instead of Pakistan, India has been acting upon terror as state policyso as to create frenzy against the other religious communities and to destabilise other regional states with the sole aim to become super power of Asia.

"The enemy is the same here ( Dandakaranva) as well as there ( Kashmir)" CPI ( Maoist). Srinagar: In an emphatic statement issued Friday CPI (Maoist) extended the party’s backing for right of self determination to Kashmiris and appealed to people of India to support the “just national liberation struggle of the people of Kashmir”.
The party said ‘Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris’ and appealed people of India to “strongly oppose daily firing of Kashmiri people”, raise their voice against state atrocities and “heartless killing of youth by armed forces”.
“Fearlessly support the just national liberation struggle of the people of Kashmir,” the statement from the central committee of CPI (Moaist) said. “We appeal to all citizens and pro-people activists of India to demand the withdrawal of Indian paramilitary and military from Kashmir and take stern action against their officers.”
The party appealed to the people to see through the media propaganda about Kashmir that distorts its history. “Those who are aware of Kashmir’s history know that it was never a part of India.”
The two-page detailed statement indicates the depth of knowledge the party has about the details of day-to-day happenings in Kashmir. “The Indian ruling class may claim that ‘militancy’ has ended and ‘separatist’ organizations have been crushed but the truth is that Kashmiri people keep struggling daily over one issue or another.”
The statement also castigates Omar Abdullah led coalition government in the state for its brutal response to “democratic resistance”.
“Government of India and its puppet government under Omar Abdullah have responded with firing, teargas, lathicharge and curfew to the peaceful and democratic resistance by the Kashmiri people which is still on.”
The statement also criticised recent attributions of stone throwing protests to having been instigated by LeT and elements from Pakistan. “Attribution (of protests) to LeT is disrespect of the freedom loving Kashmiri people.”
Through the statement CPI(Maoist) presented its revolutionary salute (Inqalabi Salam) to the struggling Kashmiri people.
“The armed struggle may have weakened, but the youth have used stones as weapons in their hands to fight the state armed forces. This only indicates their deep desire for liberation,” the statement said likening the “resistance” in Kashmir to that by the tribals of Dandakaranya. “Kashmiris are fighting Indian paramilitaries and police forces with stones just like tribals under the party are fighting in Dandakaranya using bows and arrows.”
“The enemy is the same here (Dandakaranya) as well as there (Kashmir).”
The central committee of CPI (Maoist) on behalf of the party, People’s Army and the revolutionary people vowed that it will wholeheartedly continue supporting “your struggle” in Kashmir.

Humanity in Kashmir has been brutalized ever since the nation of Kashmir started to fight for its birth right i.e. Right to Self Determination in 1989.The state has used brute force to quell the genuine struggle of masses for achieving a just solution to their dispute. When Kashmiris bid a good bye to guns and adopted peaceful ways of protests, the response from the Indian state has been even more inhumane. Heart-wrenching stories are all alike around Kashmir - mothers wailing over their dead sons or wives mourning over their husbands killed .In the time span of just six weeks, thirty three civilian youth, most of them teenager men and women have been killed by security forces since June 11 . The Killings of innocent civilian and peaceful protestors have become order of the day. Wailing Kashmiri mothers and sisters mourn the acts of the Indian Police and Security Forces almost every day and the images are seen in the print media and in some sections of the satellite television medium.
Yesterday , was no different as bloodshed was visible quiet clearly in every nook and corner of Kashmir as if security forces have license to kill Kashmiri.
Sane voices clearly point out that the choice in Kashmir is not between peace and war, but between no-peace and no-war stalemate. These voices further point out that India’s moratorium on brutalities in Kashmir amounts the Roman peace, eloquently described by the Roman poet Virgil: "You, O Roman, remember to rule the nations with might. This will be your genius�to impose the way of peace, to spare the conquered and crush the proud." India’s policy in Kashmir is “ Heads I win and Tails you lose”.
But, now the anger and resentment among Kashmiris is ever growing, not only in Kashmir, but abroad as well. They have surpassed suffocations to fight for their rights and get rid of this animal life.
No doubt,human rights are crushed.It has also been an established fact that many cases of human rights violation stem from abuse of power under repressive laws and police/army brutality unleashed against the Kashmiri people. They are taken into custody for acts that are legitimized by international human rights standards of free speech, freedom of association and assembly, and freedom of the press. While many arrests are without any legal justification whatsoever, the Indian forces also depend on several laws to justify their acts of human rights violation.
Shamefully,even corpses have been beaten up which is quiet heart rending.From eight year old women toddler to eighty two year grand mother has been raped in Kashmir.But resolve of Kashmiri is very high."Even English speaking women are now part of protest" were the recent words of an Indian channel correspondent
Clealy, the latest cycle of tremendous violence in the troubled valley is a stark reminder that more than six decades after independence of both India and Pakistan, the disputed territory of Kashmir remains as volatile as ever � and the mood on ground zero clearly indicates that that until a permanent solution to the Kashmir crisis is found, normalization of ties between Pakistan and India will not be possible and peace can also be not achieved , until the dispute is solved according to wishes and aspirations of Kashmiri masses. For the time being, humanity in Kashmir is under attack.
