After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the west
considered Islam as its most serious threat. The west, especially the US
and the fake Zionist regime, have intensified Islamophobia with the
pretext of September 11, 2001, that highly dubious event.
Meanwhile, the Islamic world has started a new chapter with
the Islamic awakening auguring a fresh era. Yet the oppressors of the
world, who are losing their strangleholds one by one, resort to
ignominious and mean acts to lengthen their dirty life. The recent
blasphemous movie by the US and Zionism was done as per this agenda.
The spectacular spread of Islam has angered the enemies of
Islam so that they try through insulting moves to humiliate the ideas
and beliefs of Muslims. The last example of these biased moves is the
production of an insulting movie against the messenger of mercy and
peace, Prophet Mohammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa
sallam)
The film was released by the anti-Islamic cultureless American pastor Terry Jones.
Sam Bacile, the scrip writer and director of the movie
which is named "The Innocence of Muslims" is a Jewish American from
California working in the Estate sector, but Terry Jones has assumed the
screening of the movie.
Sam Bacile has told the American daily Wall Street Journal
that over 100 Jews had delivered 5 million dollars for the movie. The
film has 60 actors and actresses with 45 crowd scene.
It was once screened privately at an empty hall in
Hollywood and it was planned to be displayed on the anniversary of
September 11 in Terry Jones Church but the display was cancelled.
Despite cancelling the official screening of the movie,
some parts of the film were published on the internet and since this was
carried out by the Egyptian Immigrant Copts, the first reaction against
the film was made by Egypt and then Libya, Yemen and other countries.
Now that the US regime has faced the wrath of Muslims, it
tries to acquit itself from this abominable act. Nonetheless, the US
secretary of state Hillary Clinton has commented about the film "The
Innocence of Muslims" as, “The US never deprives its citizens from
expressing their viewpoints.” She means Washington supports screening of
the movie which insults the sanctities of about 1.5 billion Muslims.
Therefore, production of such a film and other anti-Islamic measures can
not be done without the green light of the White House officials.
History bears witness that during the life of Prophet
Mohammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa
sallam), the pagan Arabs carried out silly works to prevent the
spread of this divine religion. Now, too, another chapter of paganism
has opened and the enemies of Islam through fascinating and humanitarian
slogans like freedom, human rights and the like target Islam and the
holy Prophet with the ugliest insults. Freedom of expression, as one of
genuine slogans of Islam, has turned into a tool for the west to
blaspheme Islam. Could these offensive acts be called freedom of
expression or freedom of insult?
Another question: Is this freedom of expression an
unlimited right? Can one question and insult every belief in the name of
freedom of expression? If so, why do the thinkers who raise ambiguities
on the Holocaust face harassment and persecution?
Freedom of expression means that a person can freely choose
any kind of political, social and religious thought he likes without
being under pressure for his choice. Freedom of expression is the
manifestation of freedom of idea and means free expression of thoughts
and beliefs.
This right is one of the rights which have been stressed in
all human rights declarations and has been supported in the laws of
many countries.
Article 19 of Human Rights Declaration asserts that
everyone enjoys the right of freedom of expression and idea and the
right stressed that no one should fear in his ideas.
Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and
Political Rights ICCPR says: 1- No one can be disturbed for his ideas.
2- Everyone enjoys freedom of expression and this right includes freedom
of study and publication of information and thoughts regardless of
borders whether verbally or in written form or any other form.
But paragraph 3 of article 19 of the ICCPR stipulates that:
freedom of expression requires specific rights and responsibilities. A-
Respect of dignity and right of others. B- Preservation of security,
order, health and public ethics. Paragraph 13 of the US human rights
convention under the title “Freedom of Thought and Expression” does not
consider it absolute and limits it in case of aggression to the dignity
of individuals.
Therefore we see that while accepting freedom of expression
as a basic right for human being, the international laws have taken
certain limits into consideration.
So freedom of expression can not justify production and
broadcasting of a diabolical film that insults the sanctities of a great
divine religion.
Meanwhile, the Zionists' involvement in producing the 5
million dollar movie revealed their deep hatred and rancour against
Muslims; with this mischievous act they showed their anger towards
spread of Islam, the teachings of the holy Quran and the ever luminous
image of the messenger of mercy and divine values Prophet Mohammad
(salla Allahu 'alayhi wa
sallam).
Today the western world's desperation and frustration
vis-a-vis Islam is clearly shown by producing such sacrilegious movies.
Islam is the religion of logic and ration and invites everybody to argue
on the basis of rational reasoning. But the west, instead of giving
logical response to this peaceful invitation, has always adopted the
path of insult and desecration. Desecration of Prophet Mohammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa
sallam)
and targeting the most genuine ideas of Muslims indicate the expedited
decline of the western civilization and the criminal Zionist regime.
However the important point ignored by the US and Zionist
leaders is that this act will boomerang and it is they who will suffer
the most; and the Islamic world will benefit from the sordid act of the
modern pagans, en shallah. This event will even lead to the acquaintance
of non-Muslims with the radiant image of Islam and especially its
prophet.
The enemies of Islam who once insulted the holy Quran and
another day insulted the most holy personality will further help unify
and consolidate Muslims. Although Muslims from different denominations
have several commonalities such as: faith in the One and Only God, the
holy Quran, the holy Ka’aba and Prophet Mohammad (salla Allahu 'alayhi wa
sallam).
Therefore we see that Shiites and Sunnis in all parts of the world have made strongly rallied against the silly film.
Day by day the image of the US and the Zionist regime become more hated by human beings especially Muslims.
Muslims call on international circles and especially the
Islamic Cooperation Organization and the United Nations to take
effective measures against this sordid crime.
