There are exact reports that the US is planning to sabotage Pakistan’s nuclear facilities, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Tuesday. “Americans are to sabotage in Pakistan’s nuclear facilities to find dominance over the country and undermine its government and nation,” said the President speaking in a press conference with domestic and foreign reporters.
He said there was “accurate information” about the US plans for staging sabotage in Pakistan and “using the United Nations Security Council and some other international organisations as tools to exercise pressure on Pakistan and weaken its national integrity.” World’s hegemonic system has “made massive military invasions against regional states after the 9/11 event under the pretext of the fight against terrorism to save its sick economy and the Zionist regime,” IRNA quoted the President as saying.
He also predicted that political developments similar to what was currently going on in the Middle East region would “gradually happen in the Latin America, Europe and parts of Asia and Africa.” President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that western states use Iran’s nuclear issue as a political pretext. He said that presently there is no technical problem with Iran’s nuclear program. It should be noted that Iran’s nuclear issue comprises three fully apart sections: one of them is the technical and technological section which is rapidly moving ahead.
“The centrifuges are working and new generations of the centrifuges are on the way and our researches are still going on… All these are due to the efforts of Iranian scientists.” The other part, he added, is the legal section and “legally speaking, we are moving in line with the law. Iran has had the highest cooperation with the IAEA and all activities are on the basis of the law. There is yet a political section. What are these days discussed concern the political section of the case. The political section and discussions too have almost nothing to do with the nuclear case and the nuclear issue is only as a pretext for them.” The point is the West’s enmity with the independence and progress of nations, he said, adding that the West, specifically the US and its allies, do not wish to see any nation is independent. Elsewhere in the interview, President Ahmadinejad said the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been ready for cooperation.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that the Zionist regime is now threatening the security of nations and all should know that through unity and solidarity they can put an end to imperialism, tyranny and bullying.
